Air Fried Potatoes and Onions


I Fancied a change from rice with a tinned chilli tonight so I tried these, they are undoubtedly a winner and I'm sure I'll be doing them often, they would be great with a steak or even plain white fish. Very quick and easy to do as well. One to add to my recipe book for future reference.


Ingredients

  • 3 Medium White potatoes

  • 1 Medium Onion

  • Oil

  • Black pepper


Cooking Instructions

  • Peel the potatoes and cut into bite-sized pieces

  • Peel the onion and cut into chunks (I quarter the onion and then cut each piece into two)

  • Place in air fryer and spray with oil (I used rapeseed oil)

  • Grind black pepper on top (optional)

  • Cook at 200°C for 15 minutes tossing three or 4 times during cooking


Tip: Be careful not to overcook, the potatoes can be tested with a fork, when the onions are caramelise and just beginning to crisp on the outside the potatoes should be ready.
