I like sausages as that as they are not really cheap nasty ones, living in Cumbria we have the Cumberland sausage as a local delicacy and jolly good they are too.
About once a month, I also buy a supermarket pack of their standard own-brand pork sausages, great with bacon and eggs, in toad in the hole, hot in sandwiches, cold in sandwiches. In fact, using two at a time, that is probably how I usually eat them, all of those are tasty and good value meals.
I've been trying out the offerings from the different local supermarkets and the jury is in. The winner? easy. Ashfield Farm Butcher's Select from Aldi. The best by a margin.
