Scrambled Eggs


I eat scrambled eggs on toast once or twice a week and they are usually cooked in the microwave, generally in a pyrex measuring jug as it is easy to clean afterwards.


  • Makes: 1 portion

  • Preparation time: 2 minutes

  • Cooking time: 1-2 minutes


  • 2 or 3 Eggs

  • 1 Tbsp Milk

  • Pinch of Ground Black Pepper


  1. Beat the Eggs with a fork in a microwave safe bowl or jug

  2. Add the milk and pepper

  3. Beat again

  4. Microwave on full power for 45 seconds

  5. Stir to break to any areas which are setting

  6. Microwave until the eggs are almost set (another 30-45 seconds)

  7. Serve immediately, they can be garnished with finely chopped chives if you have any
