Breakfast Oats

Microwave

One of my favourite breakfast recipes and reasonably healthy too, note that this needs to be prepared the night before.

Ingredients

  • 8 heaped dessert spoons rolled oats (100g)

  • 1 dessert spoon chia seeds

  • 1 dessert spoon flax seeds

  • 1 dessert spoon sunflower seeds

  • 1 dessert spoon pumpkin seeds

  • 1 tbsp honey or syrup (optional)

  • Fruit (optional)

  • Water

Steps

  1. Put the oats into your breakfast bowl

  2. Add the seeds

  3. Add cold water until the oats are barely covered

  4. Cover (I use a plate) and leave overnight

  5. Optionally add fruit, honey or syrup and microwave until warm (75 seconds)

  6. Eat immediately
